Wildland Fire/Emergency Management & Mitigation
We offer a broad scope of training in All-Hazards Emergency and Incident Management/Incident Command System operations.
Wildland Fire Mitigation and Preparedness is one of our core functions and training subjects, including Home Hardening/Defensible Space Best Practices and Building Collaboratives for Wildfire Risk Reduction and Mitigation.
We also offer customizable non-NWCG Wildland Fire and Wildland Urban-Interface Operations training for structural fire departments.
Prescribed Fire
We teach all phases of Prescribed Fire, from Burn Planning through Preparation, Ignition Operations, and post-burn Fire Effects Monitoring/Fire Ecology, with courses and workshops especially focused on private landowners and Prescribed Burn Associations.
