Mark has a background of leadership in all sub-disciplines of Wildland Fire except heavy equipment operator and aerial firefighting - this includes: Engines, Handcrews (Wildland Fire Module specialty), Dispatch/Coordination (including aircraft coordination, as well as Geographic Area Coordination Center work at Southern California GACC "South Ops"), Prevention/Mitigation/Outreach, and Fuels Planning, Implementation, & Monitoring (Prescribed Fire and Fuels Reduction).
