Grounded Truths works three problems that get lumped together and should not be:

Whether a bare piece of WUI ground can be a safe, livable, usable, and insurable development

Whether a house/neighborhood already on WUI ground can be hardened to a defensible condition and

Whether the people who fight fire and light fire are trained to do it safely and effectively
Wildfire Hazard Mitigation
Builders/Developers: Save time, effort, and money by getting wildfire help from the start as you're looking at land to procure for development.
Homeowners: Get specific, actionable steps to help mitigate wildfire risk and prepare for evacuations.
Either way, you'll work with a career wildland firefighter/officer and fire marshal who specializes in Wildfire Mitigation and Hazardous Fuels Management who's directly saved homes from wildfires.
Prescribed Fire Training
Our Goal: We train and mentor prescribed fire practitioners at all levels, from beginners to experienced Burn Bosses, to make them safer and more effective firelighters.
Grounded Truths creates, delivers, and assists partner organizations with delivering virtual, hybrid, and in-person prescribed fire trainings & workshops covering the entire prescribed fire process, with mentored live-fire burns, and Spot Fire Workshops.

AAS Solar Eclipse Task Force/Local Planning Workgroup
From early 2022 through the April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse, Grounded Truths supported AAS' Solar Eclipse Task Force & Local Planning Workgroup in preparation of Annular Eclipse 2023 and Total Eclipse 2024 with subject-matter expertise in public safety and emergency management for unusual events.
